Educational Programs
Education and Business Legacy —Discussions are underway with UEL, University of East London in a collaborative effort to Promote education and business classes for the community and Olympians: forums, seminars and online classes on various topics centered on Olympic ideals and values, and examining the qualities of success on the playing field translating to the business arena.
- UEL is hosting a FICTS challenge in 2010 for the community of Newham
- UEL is creating a Torch Award center for Film Schools in the UK, which will start in 2009.
- WOA is creating Olympian scholarships to UEL.
- WOA will foster educational and cultural exchange programs with other Universities and UEL.
Educational Forums – WOA will host forums such as the UN WTO Forum on Tourism at upcoming ORCs in London and Vancouver.
- WOA is working with the Korean OA on a Forum in Seoul to discuss mobilization of Olympians, NOAs and regions.
ISCA – Olympians continue to receive Scholarships from the International Sports Chiropractic Association.
