Central American and Caribbean Games set to start on Saturday
The 21st Central American and Caribbean Games will be held in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, from July 17, 2010 to August 1, 2010. It's the third time Puerto Rico hosts the Central American and Caribbean Games, the other being San Juan in 1966, and Ponce in 1993.
A total of 4,965 athletes will participate in 39 sports to be held across Puerto Rico, Colombia, Guatemala, and Guyana. The opening ceremony will be held on July 17, 2010 in Mayagüez Central American Stadium.
